QUICK BLUEBERRY CAKE

A delicious and juicy cake that you will make very easily and quickly. It is best to use fresh blueberries, but if you don’t have them at hand, you can use pre-frozen ones or, instead, you can use cherries, which are also an excellent choice for this cake.

COMPONENTS

1 cup flour (white or wholemeal)
1 cup sugar or stevia
1 cup of milk
125 g of butter
2 cups blueberries

WAY OF PREPARATION

Preheat the oven to 180 C. Coat an ovenproof dish (about 25 cm in diameter) with oil and set aside.
Melt the butter and pour it into a bowl, add flour, sugar and milk and mix until there are no large lumps. Pour into an ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle blueberries on top.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until edges are browned. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
